ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the book "Six Keys to the Soviet System," by Bertram D. Wolfe. Wolfe argues energetically that the "new" Soviet leadership is new in nothing but the imagination of wishful thinkers. The present leaders, disciples of Stalin who owe their eminence to their adeptness and diligence in applying Joseph Stalin's methods, have no intention of abandoning the totalitarian principles which made them what they are. One must also take care not to assume that the chapters on culture, science, education and labor give a complete picture of these aspects of Soviet life.
