ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Ohio's fall campaign heated up this week when Treasurer Joseph Deters said he would run for country prosecutor in Hamilton County. Deters is serving his second and final term as treasurer, which expires in 2006. Deters, a write-in candidate, will compete against four other candidates in the Hamilton County race. Deters, a Republican who was Hamilton County prosecutor before moving to the treasurer's office, entered his name as a sign-in candidate for the post after Michael Alien resigned position amid allegations of an extramarital affair.
