Reports on an increase in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fibre chips exports to India and the Middle East by South Korean and Taiwanese producers as of September 12, 2004. Major factor that prompted the countries to increase their market share in India and the Middle East; Production capacity of PET fibre chips that were exported to India and Pakistan by a South Korean producer in 2003; Percentage of market share achieved by Taiwanese producers in India and Bangladesh from January 2004 to June 2004.
