ABSTRACT
The article discusses the political campaign at its height for the ensuing presidential elections in the United States. The poll issues and the manifestoes of the contending political parties are diverse, wide-ranging and even reflects regional aspirations. One of the big issues of the campaign may be the irresponsibility of the American press; newspapers show even greater bias at the start than in the past. The Democratic National Committee had difficulty finding an advertising firm bold enough to handle its account. The tax exemption for small campaign gifts probably will go through the Congress, but $100 seems too much under the graduated income tax.
