ABSTRACT
Focuses on various political developments in the U.S. related to presidential election campaigning. Proclamation made by presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson at Santa Fe, New Mexico stating that his campaign will not include an all-out assault upon the personality of U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower; Suggestion that every political campaign is to some extent an exercise in histrionics and Stevenson's formidable task is to dramatize the basically undramatic; Criticism of Eisenhower Administration's theory that electric power development should proceed on the basis of a partnership between the government and huge private corporations.
