ABSTRACT
Noted conservative, Alan Keyes wants reparations. Or, at least, that's what Keyes has been proclaiming out in Illinois, where he's running as the Republican Party hopeful for the United States Senate seat. Keyes is suggesting that by exempting one or possibly two generations of descendants of enslaved Africans from having to pay federal income taxes, the United States could finally initiate a valid method of repaying African Americans for the unpaid labor, loss of life and generations of psychological and physical abuse suffered by their ancestors due to slavery. As a conservative, Keyes had run for the U.S. Senate seats twice before and lost.
