ABSTRACT
Reports that the US Bureau of Land Management has distributed eight million dollars to the boroughs and unincorporated areas of Alaska under the Payments in Lieu of Taxes Act of 1976 (PILT). Aim to offset the loss of tax revenue to states that result from tax-exempt federal land within their jurisdictions.
