The article reports that Comcast Corp. and Time Warner Cable have created the OCAP Development LLC to hasten the OpenCable Applications Platform in the U.S. The purpose of the venture is explained. The remarks of Time Warner chief technology officer Mike LaJoie on the platform are presented. The benefit of the venture to the cable industry is also described.
