Reports on Maryland Court of Appeals' Judge Alan M. Wilner's agreement with the lower court's findings that the Bank of New York and bondholder, led by Eaton Vance Management, are barred from filing charges against bond counsel Piper Rudnick LLP and two of its former lawyers. Expiration of a three-year statute of limitations; Questions from both bank and bondholders on whether action had been taken to perfect the bondholders' priority status as creditors in the District of Columbia more than three years before November 23, 2001.
