ABSTRACT
This article looks at the 'Journal of Financial Planning' Symposium in Denver, Colorado in 2004. It includes insights, creativity, new approaches and practical experience. The journal, as a publication, has undeniable value as a source for advanced thinking on financial planning topics. But nothing compares with the spontaneous interaction of getting to talk, in person, with authors and colleagues about the journal. The symposium attendees will have been immersed in innovative thinking from the Call for Papers winners, from those who received Special Mention recognition in the competition and from financial planner Roger Gibson, who will give a special Best of 25 Years presentation based on his article 'The Rewards of Multiple-Asset-Class Investing.'
