Australian newspaper Sydney Morning Herald has raised questions about authenticity of the book "Honor Lost," which is published in Australia under the title "The Forbidden Love." The paper claims the author wasn't living on the same continent as the setting for the story when it is claimed to have taken place. The book, which is about an honor killing in Jordan after a woman has a relationship with a Christian man, was published hardcover in the U.S. by the publishing house Simon & Schuster Inc. Random House is the Australian publisher of Forbidden Love and is demanding evidence from author Norma Khouri that the story is authentic.
