ABSTRACT
This article presents information on several forthcoming events related to medical research. The Paul Brown Travel Fellowships are awarded by the Endoscopy Committee of the British Society of Gastroenterology. Successful applicants will be expected to provide a brief written report to the Endoscopy Committee of the outcome of their visit. The 8th Southeast European Symposium of Paediatric Surgery will focus upon "Infectious Problems in Paediatric Surgery." The event will be held between September 24-25, 2004, at the University of Graz, Austria. The conference for advances in the inflammatory bowel diseases will be held in Chicago, Illinois, on October 8-9, 2004.
