ABSTRACT
Motorola Inc. is still struggling to get some cell phones to market on time, despite efforts to solve delivery woes under new CEO Edward Zander. The latest miscue leaves Motorola without a camera phone to offer wireless carriers including Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest cellular phone operator with 40 million subscribers that use a technology that covers about 45% of the U.S. market. Analysts warn this gap in Motorola's portfolio could affect second-quarter financial results, despite continued strong sales of camera phones Motorola created for the other leading cellular technology.
