This section presents an update on the Institute of Management Services as of July 2004. The North West Region board met on April 17 April at Saint James Avenue Breightmet, Bolton. Chairman Len Price started the meeting with an invitation for council delegate David Blanchflower to update board members on Institute policy and future plans. A range of radical changes were proposed and expanded upon. Tribute was paid to Les Williams who resigned from the board. He was remembered for his long years of service to the Institute and region board. On May 12, 2004, the Fife Association of Professional Institutes held their Annual Deliberation. Fife Fabrications Ltd. managing director Archie Smith gave a fascinating insight into the company. The company is one of the most advanced manufacturers of precision sheet metalwork in Great Britain. It is committed to total quality management and the progressive development of its employees.
