At a luncheon held in Bristol, England, the chairman of CWD Management Systems Ltd., Peter Newman, presented awards to the highest achieving candidates in the Commercial Work Data (CWD) examinations of 2003. -The John Baker Award is an annual presentation to the candidate who achieves the highest examination mark during the year. However, to mark the 15th year of the presentation and the high standards achieved during the 2003 examinations, it was also decided to make Merit Awards to other 3 candidates. Lisa Farrell who, in achieving a mark of 95%, set a standard never before attained in the examination, received the John Baker Award. Merit Awards were presented to Joanna Grice, David Mollinson and Graeson Tite, who achieved marks that would have previously won them the main award. On this occasion, all the award recipients are employed in various areas of Lloyds TSB Bank.
