On the opposite page you'll find this year's list of the Top 50 IT training suppliers, but what's the story behind the figures? This article profiled the top ten companies, together with a selection of the other entrants, who stood out for their exceptional growth, change of management or just steady quality performance. In spite of Parity's revenues falling in 2003, it still did better than the market and so managed to push Learning Tree into second place. A group of Parity's largest customers helps shape the supplier's strategy and product set. The payoff has been a 35 per cent growth in revenues from the top 20 accounts. Learning Tree's revenues fell by slightly more than the market in 2003, taking the firm down to second place. Rather than contemplating the growth areas of managed training services and user training, the supplier chose to stick to its strengths, mainly in public-scheduled technical training. Thomson NETg remains the highest placed e-learning provider in our table, with IT training revenues almost unchanged from last year.
