ABSTRACT
In this year's overview of the best business operators in the convenience channel, Convenience Store News implemented a new methodology, asking retailers to rate suppliers on four specific measures rather than just giving them an overall score. Surveys were sent to 2,500 convenience store retailers at headquarter locations and asked them to rate how select suppliers performed in each of the following disciplines: Product innovation; overall excellence of product offerings, product assortment and new product introductions; strong and creative marketing programs that drive consumers into retail stores on a regular basis.
