New ideas and new technology flooded this year's NACSTech Show at its new home, the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. Information-packed sessions and a trade show floor filled with new and improved technologies offered retailers a variety of choices. And one of the biggest choices concerning technology is choosing the right vendor. Kicking off the convention, John Rossi and Patrick Raycroft of W. Capra Consulting Group spoke in a session entitled, "Selecting the Right Vendor: RFPs, Demos and Partners," and offered key considerations when creating request-for-proposals for vendors. Once a company has chosen a vendor and the technology is up and running, the next thing to look for is how the chain is benefiting as a result.
