ABSTRACT
Provides information on the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), a 250-pound weapon with fold-out wings and advanced, Global Positioning System-Inertial Navigation System guidance. Expected operation of the SDB with Air Force squadrons in early 2006; Boeing's manufacture of the smart bomb carriage called the BRU-61A which enables an aircraft to carry and manage four SDB on each standard weapons station.
