ABSTRACT
This article reports that IMS Student of the Year for 2003 has been awarded to Paul Hickey, a process development engineer for Waterford Crystal in Eire. Another delegate from Scott-Grant Training took third place, who is John Hale, an industrial engineer with QVC in Liverpool, England. One of the first to congratulate Paul was his colleague Liam Carmody who was Student of the Year 2001, following his training with Scott-Grant. Joanne Crawshaw, training manager at Scott-Grant was allegedly delighted to receive the news from the institute. As Crawshaw stated, it was brilliant that the delegates have won the international award five times in the last six years, as of June 2004. In addition, Crawshaw stated that they are planning a celebration with the high achievers.
