ABSTRACT
Looks at the study conducted by Richard Bond, et al, published in the 2004 issue of the "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences," indicating that beta-blockers which are presently contraindicated for asthmatics, might actually be able to prevent serious attacks. Influence of the duration of bronchodilator therapy on whether beta-adrenoreceptor ligands have a positive or negative effects; Investigation of the hypothesis that airway sensitivity to methacholine elicits airway narrowing.
