ABSTRACT
Space Camp demonstrates the formula for student achievement: Enthusiastic, motivated and prepared teachers equal student success and job satisfaction. I was the first correctional teacher at Space Camp and it gave me the opportunity to talk to teachers from around the country about the successes and needs of our profession. The emphasis of the training is to bring teachers together to be learners again and to reignite the teaching spark within us.
