ABSTRACT

The Institute of IT Training's second National Training Conference program has been announced and this year, following feedback from members, it has expanded into three streams. The Institute has again kept the fee down to accommodate training professionals with small budgets. The delegate fee of £ 175 is still close to half that charged by the big conference organizers, so we consider that with 15 presentations and a keynote, the fee is the best value for money for a training event. Additionally, the expanded area for the small-stand exhibition provides them with access to the latest training products and services and, of course, the added bonus of meeting their colleagues and fellow members in the networking sessions make it a must-go event, Colin Steed, chief executive of the Institute adds. The workshop on developing a business case for training shows how to present value rather than just a cost to your management. The final part of this stream offers advice on using the virtual classroom to supplement both your e-learning deployment and your classroom delivery. INSET: The sessions and how to book your place.
