This article presents news briefs related to the education and training industry. The University of the Aegean has announced it is to implement e-learning across the institution via WebCT's Vista solution. The university will use the e-learning system to share content and information across 17 departments, situated on five different campuses on various Greek islands. The country's largest telecommunications provider, Empresa Brasileira de Telecomunicacoes (Embratel), has deployed Saba's Enterprise Learning Suite to grow employee training schemes and boost customer satisfaction. The system will be used for training within Embratel's' corporate university. Only one in every five school teachers in South Australia rate themselves as having above basic level computing skills, according to the results of a state government survey.
