Describes the experience of writing and recording a score for the Warner Bros. movie “Troy” seven weeks before release. Film composer Simon Rhodes and scoring mixer Simon Rhodes; Setup at Todd-AO composed of two Pyramix workstations and two Pro Tools systems; Direct recording to the main Pyramix rig, utilizing all of the system's 56 tracks; Studio acoustics; Orchestra miking; Recording to a SATA RAID hard disk recorder.
