Wrensoft has released Zoom Search Engine 3.0, a software package that allows web developers, from novice to experts, to add a custom search engine to their website. Unlike other solutions, there are no complicated server setup procedures, just install the software on a Windows PC, index the site and upload the resulting index files and search script. One can have a powerful search engine on his website in a matter of minutes. Zoom will make the site instantly more accessible, and help visitors find what they are looking for without getting lost or frustrated. Zoom will keep visitors on the site. It is a must for any web developer who values the content on their site, and their audience. The advanced features of Zoom allow one to log the searches made on the website, and analyze them with generated statistical reports, providing pie-charts on the Top 10 searches, and graphs of the number of searches per day, week, or month. These reports are generated as HTML web pages so they can be put online, used in presentations or filed away for one's own analysis and records. Zoom Search Engine 3.0 is available for free for small websites, Standard Edition and Professional Edition, which support larger websites and more file formats.
