Reports that Moody's Investors Service downgraded Indiana-based DePauw University's credit rating to A2 from A1 due to thin operating performance and high tuition discounting, which has hurt net tuition growth. Rating affected the school's $75 million of outstanding debt sold through the Indiana Educational Facilities Authority; Three-year average operating margin at negative 1.2 percent; Increased financial aid expenditures.
