ABSTRACT
Home Depot Inc. announced a series of promotions last week following the appointment of Bill Patterson to the newly created post of president for Home Depot Asia, a new division. Patterson, who has served as president of the Central Division since 2002, joined Home Depot in 1999. Prior to Home Depot, Patterson's experience spanned more than 30 years in retail in the U.S., Asia, Mexico and Europe. Troy Rice, senior vice president of operations since 2002, will replace Patterson as president of the Central Division at its Chicago, Illinois-based office.
