ABSTRACT
The entrants for the first TTG Northern British Travel Agent Awards of the periodical "Travel Trade Gazette," have only a week to wait to find out if they are winners at a ceremony in Manchester, England. Good training is not a once-a-year refresher but rather a regular part of any team's time. Staff should participate in that training rather than just have to listen to someone talking. A good manager in the travel industry is as good as a lawyer, they must know so many different bits of information to do a good job. But being knowledgeable is not good enough. That manager must also motivate staff and understand the customers.
