ABSTRACT
The death of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan last week has sent publishers scrambling to put out new and remarketed books about his life, his policies, and his presidency. DK Publishing is planning to reprint William F. Buckley's book "Ronald Reagan: An American Hero." Cathy Melnicki, director of publicity for DK said 25,000 copies will be on the market by next Monday and another 10,000 printed this week. Sentinel, an Imprint of Penguin Group, will publish "Reagan Off the Cuff," this July. Written by Jim Kuhn, former executive assistant to President Reagan, the book was acquired by Penguin in 2003 with plans for a February 2005 release.
