Motorola Inc. has debuted two powerful new cable modems for the connected home--the Motorola SBV5120 and the Motorola SBG940. Both products are compliant with the latest industry standards and extend the feature set of the company's proven platform for Internet phone services, integrating capabilities such as voice-over-IP telephony or wireless home networking. The Motorola SBV5120 is the newest member of Motorola's family of telephony cable modems, providing an integrated solution for voice telephony services and high-speed Internet access. The Motorola SBG940 simplifies the process of building a wireless home network. By bringing together two of Motorola's inherent strengths--its worldwide leadership in wireless communications and its technology expertise in building broadband networks--the Motorola SBG940 saves consumers from the headache of integrating multiple devices when building a robust home network. Motorola will continue to support operators with unique products like Motorola's SBG940 and the SBV5120 by leveraging our company's heritage in wireless and broadband communications.
