ABSTRACT
Provides information on a testing program devised by New Berlin, Wisconsin-based Yaskawa Drives working with Capital City Mechanical and Electronic Maintenance Associates, both of Norcross, Georgia, that would provide all the energy-savings evidence needed for an effective method of achieving energy savings and lower maintenance costs. Action taken by the group to assure accurate results of the testing program; Description of a variable-frequency drive installed in one of the test sites; Results of the comparative tests conducted in a downtown facility.
