ABSTRACT
Reports on the multichannel competition in cable and direct broadcast satellite in Salt Lake City, Utah and Albuquerque, New Mexico, brought about by USDTV's leasing of capacity from existing television stations. Use of the capacity to deliver a package of 11 of cable channels and eight broadcast channels. Delivery of the channels using Motion Picture Expert Group-2 digital compression; Number of TV channels owned by Emmis Communications Corp.
