ABSTRACT
The article presents information on topics covered in the June 15, 2004 issue of the periodical "Clinical Infectious Diseases." Seroprevalence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus antibody among health care workers, the study examines the risk of infection for clinical health care workers who care for patients with SARS. An article on an alternative vaccine against smallpox suggests that modified vaccinia Ankara is a potential alternative to the current smallpox vaccine. Glutamine improves drug malabsorption in patients with AIDS.
