Lindows, Inc. has launched Lsongs, an all-in-one music management and playback software program as of June 2004, which gives Linspire users complete control over the digital music experience. Lsongs combines the functionality of several Linux applications into one easy-to-use program for several functions, from importing songs to burning customs albums. The software is included in select versions of Linspire. Lsongs brings simplicity to creating, managing and enjoying digital music. Software features include the ability to do the following: (1) import an unlimited number of audio tracks and encode them into digital format; (2) organize their entire music collection working with simple-to-use tools, including a powerful search engine and playlists; (3) listen to MP3, audio CD, and streaming Internet radio stations; and (4) create custom music CD in a simple one-step process with no extra CD-burning software needed. Lsongs can be downloaded and installed into any Linspire computer using CNR Technology from the Linspire software Warehouse.
