ABSTRACT
Different means for outpatient services of inflammatory bowel disease follow up have been proposed. Four hundred and thirteen National Association for Colitis and Crohn's members responded, of which 237 patients had Crohn's disease and 176 ulcerative colitis. Patients are clearly interested in new methods of interaction with clinicians, but they want health professionals to be accessible, communicate with them, and most importantly make them better. The median age was 50 years with a 63.4% female preponderance.
