ABSTRACT
Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd. (CSR) expects to be able to capitalize on its Bluetooth design win with Nokia Corp. to gain further business with other major mobile phone manufacturers this year. More tier one OEMs are looking very hard at whether to use internal or external intellectual property. Mobile phones are still the main market, but it is hoped headsets, keyboards and mouses will gain ground. CSR posted a profit after tax of 7.13 million dollars for the first quarter of the year 2004, up from a loss of 2.42 million dollars in the year 2003.
