U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Co. controls the largest share of Top 1.0 brands, as its Copenhagen and Skoal brands brought in a combined 66 percent of sales and 58.8 percent of unit volume in 2003. The Conwood brands Kodiak and Grizzly combined for 11.3 percent of sales and 11.7 of units, while Swedish Match's TimberWolf brand had 2.6 percent of sales and 3.1 percent of units. Skoal's Long Cut Cherry made the top 10 in sales, though not in units, while the reverse was true for U.S. Smokeless Tobacco's Red Seal Fine Cut Natural.
