ABSTRACT
Describes the fishing assistance method, developed by Shimada Kenji of NTT, that eliminates the inconvenience of waiting by alerting fishermen when there is a pull on the line. Attachment of a transmitter to the fishing rod which calls the angler's mobile phone using a communication network.
