ABSTRACT
In just six months, networking experts, investors and research analysts from all over the world will meet under one roof at the 18th annual Next Generation Networks (NGN) conference in Boston, Massachusetts on November 1-5, 2004. For the past 18 years, the NGN has been the place to learn about the future of networking from the leaders who define it. This year is no exception, with two four-star keynotes headlining the program: Charlie Giancarlo, senior vice president and general manager, product development, Cisco Systems Inc. and president of Cisco-Linksys LLC; and Vint Cerf, senior vice president, technology strategy of MCI and co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols and the Internet architecture. The NGN will look three to four years into the future, focusing on wireless networks, security, IP telephony, enterprise networks, investments and business issues.
