ABSTRACT

The article presents a publisher scorecard informing about political books that lead the way on non-fiction hardcover list. Ron Suskind's "The Price of Evil (Simon & Schuster)" has been No. 1 for five weeks, same as Fox News commentator Sean Hannity's "Deliver Us From Evil (Regan Books)." Robert Barnett of the Williams & Connolly book agency (New York) is the top nonfiction hardcover agent so far, with five bestsellers lasting 12 weeks, including Bob Woodward's "Plan of Attack." Random House has produced 16 bestsellers for a combined 53 weeks so far, and is eagerly awaiting the release of Bill Clinton's memoirs "My Life," next month.
