The article presents information about gastroenterological conferences that are going to be held in the year 2004. Hong Kong-Shanghai International Liver Congress 2004 will be held from February 14-17, 2004 in Hong Kong. The topic of the conference is "Liver Diseases in the Post-Genomic Era." The 39th Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of the Liver will be held from April 15-19, 2004 in Berlin, Germany. The other Second Sheffield Multi-Disciplinary Colorectal Meeting for surgeons, physicians, radiologists and specialists nurses will be held from January 9, 2004. This meeting will take place between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Postgraduate Centre, Northern General Hospital in Sheffield, England.
