ABSTRACT
This article answers a query related to the basketball team Los Angeles Lakers and basketball player Karl Malone. The length of Malone's career—19 years, most of which have been injury-free—and the statistics he has piled up warrant him consideration as the best player not to win a ring. Charles Barkley is high on that list, and Patrick Ewing is up there, too. As good as Malone was over the course of his career, he was not the revolutionary talent or high-impact player Elgin Baylor was.
