Discusses the processes used to mix gases in high pressure cylinders which can affect the homogeneity and consistency of a blend during discharge. Need for distributors to maintain gas mixture integrity to achieve high quality welds; Mixture of argon, oxygen, helium, hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide in high pressure cylinders for use as shielding gases for metal joining; Cylinder rolling; Induced mixing.
