The Israeli security cabinet has approved the sale of three advanced Phalcon spy planes to India. Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has finalised details of the purchase agreement during a visit to India. Nine international firms have applied to pre-qualify for an Engineering, Procurement and Construction tender to construct a $900 million petrochemical plant in Shuaiba, Kuwait. Italian designer Giorgio Armani has signed a letter of intent with Dubai's company Emaar Properties for the establishment of a worldwide collection of luxury hotels and resorts with an estimated total investment of $1 billion.
