ABSTRACT
The article provides information about the musical show "SXSW 2004," held in Austin, Texas. The event saw major musicians like Franz Ferdinand and Joss Stone, who were the subject of a genuine widespread buzz across the U.S. music industry. The year has been all about British music bands, says Jim Chancellor, manager of music company Polydor A&R and Athlete, who were among best received performers in the festival, featuring more than 1000 music bands. Phil Hughes, Radio 2's editor of mainstream programmes, holds that the programme generated a huge reaction from the audience.
