ABSTRACT
The article presents several news related to books that appeared in the March 29, 2004, issue of the journal "Book Publishing Report." Source Interlink Co. has signed a deal with company Marvel Comics to distribute comic and graphic novel titles to specialty markets in North America. Publishers Group West has signed distribution deals with 11 independent publishers. The publishers encompass a wide range of genres, from pulp-inspired fiction to health and spirituality. Italy-based publishing giant company Mondadori is negotiating worldwide rights for Pope John Paul II's new book, a recollection of his years as bishop in Poland.
