Ending a wave of speculation, chief operating officer (CEO) Guillaume De Posch will replace executive Urs Rohner as CEO of Haim Saban's ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG broadcasting group. Rohner ankles April 30, 2004 to join a multinational corporation in his native Switzerland. Although Rohner's contract was extended last year until 2006, speculation about and early exit has persisted. Rohner reportedly has been forced to share chief executive duties with De Posch. De Posch, a Belgian native and media industry veteran, was vice general manager and programming director at French Pay television company TPS before joining ProSiebenSat.1.
