MGM Productions has applied a half-nelson to the movie "Unleashing the Mules" pinning down a spectacular script deal for an up-lifting drama based on blind grappler Deke Edwards, who became a two-time state wrestling champ in Missouri despite his disability. Deal was in the mid-six figures. Script-writer Christopher Parker wrote the script, and producer Alex Gartner will produce the movie. The film revolves around the relationship between the athlete and his coach, who helped the youngster wrestle with adversity when he lost his sight at the age of 13.
