ABSTRACT
Television news correspondent Martin Savidge has ankled Cable News Network (CNN) to join National Broadcasting Co. Inc. (NBC) News, where Savidge will report for the Peacock's broadcast and cable properties. Savidge said his contract was up at CNN and he could not turn down the Peacock's offer to work for NBC News proper, as well as MSNBC and CNBC. The hire is effective immediately. Joining CNN in 1996, Savidge has reported on an array of domestic and international stories, including the war in Iraq.
